HeadPower has been granted the ISO 27001:2013 information security management system certificate on November 21, 2022.

The certification shows that the company follows practices that maintain good data security in all its operations.

HeadPower’s efforts to obtain the certificate began in early 2022. The information security certificate requires the holder to be able to operate in an information secure manner and to maintain documentation that can be used to authenticate the actions taken to promote information security.

HeadPower has always taken information security issues very seriously, but the certificate formalizes the information security processes with extensive documentation and prioritizes information security in our daily work.

– You can say that customers have always been able to trust us in matters of information security. Now they do not have to take our word for it, because we have a certificate to prove this, says Timo Mutila, COO of HeadPower.

The ISO 27001:2013 certificate is based on a globally recognized standard dealing with the requirements for the creation, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an information security management system.

The work to obtain the certificate required great efforts  and commitment from Headpower’s staff.

– When it comes to information security, the commitment and attitude of the personnel are critical, and everyone here at HeadPower understands the seriousness of protecting and securing information in all of our operational processes, Mutila comments.
